Yamaha’s Revstar II series advances upon the modern-day classic Revstar with careful construction and finely tuned musicality for an exceptional musical experience for the contemporary player. A brilliantly-finish mahogany body is outfitted with Yamaha’s exclusive Acoustic Design chambering process to result in a guitar that is lighter and more resonant. Quick on its feet while remaining tonally and acoustically balanced off the bat, Acoustic Design is a breakthrough. A carbon-reinforced three-piece mahogany neck fits easily into the palm for smooth travels from higher to lower frets.
This playing experience is built upon with Yamaha’s Alnico V humbucking pickups. These humbuckers produce plenty of kick with character and style, only further enhanced by a five-position pickup selector and unique passive push/pull Focus Switch. This key addition to the RSS20 adds in additional tonal shaping for players to roll through a wide array of tones unique to the Revstar.
