The Epiphone Casino is an instrument with an incredible legacy. Seen in the hands of British Invasion greats, the Casino’s excellent kick and resonant tone make it as much of a classic today as it was in the 1960s. With the introduction of this model from the Epiphone USA collection, Epiphone marks the occasion of the Casino being manufactured in the states for the first time in over fifty years. It’s been a long wait, but it was absolutely worth it.
Epiphone’s USA Casino makes its grand return with some awesome technology and spot-on specifications. Constructed with a 3-ply maple and poplar body, solid mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard, this guitar brings an authentic feeling in hand to any player who picks it up. Playing is effortless with a Rounded C neck profile and Medium Jumbo frets for a streamlined experience. The tones of the Casino are brought to life by two Gibson USA P-90 single coil “Dogear” pickups. These classic pickups span the tonal spectrum from cool and mellow to hot and energetic for any type of music. Top the whole instrument off with an ABR-1 bridge, Thinline Trapeze tailpiece, and Graph Tech nut for sustain and intonation and you’ve got yourself an awesome American-made instrument.
