This Martin 000-28 is in very good condition with minor signs of play and general use. Approx. 1/8″ lacquer chip at lower bout in binding.
The Martin 000-28 is an auditorium/concert style guitar fit for fingerstyle playing, though applicable to all styles of music; excelling in the studio and on stage. This Martin 000-28 is a 2018 model year, featuring the company’s new High Performance taper neck profile and aging toner finish. For visual appeal, herringbone binding is factory standard on all new 000-28 guitars.
It’s previous owner had a pickup installation performed by Russo Music. The pickup is the LR Baggs M1 Passive system, which retrofits into a soundhole and provides a more open tone than an undersaddle pickup. You will need a DI to get the most out of this system, as the user will have to dial in the proper low and mid frequency depending on the room. It does not, however, alter the sound of the acoustic response of this guitar, and this particular Martin 000-28 has lots of pop and response and is very smooth to play. Get your hands on this excellent studio and live guitar while you can!
